We’ve been spending more time at home than ever before. To help you make the most of the extra time indoors, VELUX has been working with experts from across the UK and Ireland to provide tips and inspiration to help ensure your home remains your sanctuary, and that you stay healthy when you’re in it.

Loch Ness Knitting is a small business located in the village of Drumnadrochit on the shores of Loch Ness in the Scottish Highlands.

Owner Dwynwen is passionate about creating original knitting designs and yarn inspired by this unique landscape. Her range of naturally hand dyed yarn colours is created by working in sustainable partnership with local cafes and woodland landowners to repurpose their waste materials into a full range of dye colours.

As well as making yarn, Dwynwen also designs, dyes and knits a range of luxury knitted clothing and accessories, all representative of the colours and ingredients found in the local environment.

Dwynwen’s video features an abundance of natural light from roof windows in her home. If you’re considering creating a similar space, take a look at our extension case studies, which feature homeowners who have created similar, daylight-filled rooms.

For more from Dwynwen, you can find Loch Ness Knitting on Facebook and Instagram.
